Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced NMT (Network Management & Troubleshooting) Engineer to join our team. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability, reliability, and security
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Implement preventive maintenance measures to avoid outages and performance issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for escalation and issue resolution.
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, incidents, and solutions.
  • Provide support for network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Network / NMT Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience in telecom or data center environments.
