About the Role The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities. Responsibilities Identifying and defining customer needs and defining specifications for new product development. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality to develop innovative and competitive safety relief valve solutions. Managing the product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch, while adhering to timelines and budgets. Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitoring market trends and competitive landscape to identify product improvement opportunities and make recommendations for enhancements. Coordinating with sales and marketing teams to develop effective product launch strategies and promotional materials. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree Strong knowledge of safety relief valve design principles, industry standards (such as ASME, API), and applicable regulations (such as ASME UV, PESO,IBR,PED). Having experience in softwares related to designing eg. Autocad, Solidworks, etc. for product design and modeling. Strong organizational and communication skills.
