Your responsibilities will include developing new designs, updating existing ones, and ensuring that all designs meet the required standards throughout the creation process. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and define customer needs, outlining specifications for new product development. - Collaborate with various teams such as Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality to create competitive safety relief valve solutions. - Manage the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely launch within set budgets. - Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to meet industry standards and regulations. - Stay updated on market trends, identifying opportunities for product enhancements. - Work closely with sales and marketing teams to devise effective product launch strategies. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field. - Proficiency in safety relief valve design principles, industry standards (e.g., ASME, API), and regulations (e.g., ASME UV, PESO, IBR, PED). - Experience in design software such as Autocad, Solidworks, etc., for product design and modeling. - Strong organizational and communication skills.
