Division R&D Department Style Parts Level EX Functional Area Lighting Systems 1 Job Title Asst Manager/Manager 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : LX 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Essential: B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engg. from reputed University / Institute Should have been consistent & secured good percentage throughout academics (SSC, HSC, Diploma, Graduation etc) ii) Experience Minimum: 3 Year(s) Maximum: 7 Year(s) iii) Age Limit Minimum: 24 Year(s) Maximum: 32 Year(s) 4 Job Role & Responsibilities FEA modelling in HyperMesh. Modal / static analysis for relevant load cases on parts in the respective categories Dynamic / durability analysis with the help of CAE teams Responsible for layout & Interface checks in 3D, with surrounding parts and highlighting clearance / interference issues, if any Ensuring that the part design respect all the DFM principles for respective part categories Review the part design & prepare DFM check sheets before release Communicating interface issues with verticals / styling Ensure timely completion of activities as per given time targets by proper management of personnel and resources 5 Competency Requirements Technical Expertise in UG NX Version and conversant with ACAD Expertise in TeamCenter Engineering MS Office including Power point, Excel etc. Expertise in relevant FEA tools like Hyper Mesh, Romax, etc. Knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, DFA and DFS aspects Expertise in preparing 2D drawings & Knowledge of GD&T Good knowledge of and exposure to relevant manufacturing processes inhouse as well as at vendors Behavioural Initiative, Desire to Learn Effective team player and ability to lead small teams Proactive and Good interpersonal skills 6 Proficiencies Good Knowledge of design of Aluminium die cast and steel forged and machined parts Good Knowledge of design of Aluminium & steel forged and machined parts Good Knowledge of HPDC, LPDC, warm and cold forging, steel extrusion, sintered parts, aluminium precision machining, steel precision machining process & tools Good knowledge of DFM requirements for die cast, forged sintered and machined parts 7 Preferred experience Experience in working with Automotive or 2 Wheeler parts like Alloy wheels, grab handles, step holders, etc & for PT - Cylinder heads, valve train components, crankcases, covers, block, conrod, crankshafts, oil pumps, journal bearings. 8 Likely sources OEMs Hero Moto, Tata Motors, M&M, Maruti-Suzuki, Eicher-Volvo, Service Industry TCS, TTL, Wipro
