Job Description

Job Responsibilities


  • Proposal Development: Assist in the creation of detailed proposals for enterprise networking solutions, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.

  • Pricing and Sizing: Perform accurate pricing and sizing for enterprise networking projects, taking into account the specific needs and constraints of each project.

  • Network Design: Design high-level network diagrams (HLD) as part of proposals, showcasing the proposed solutions architecture and components.

  • Managed Services Proposals: Create managed network services proposals, including proper sizing for resources and outlining the scope of services offered.

  • Customer Engagement: Present and defend proposed solutions to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and technical teams to develop comprehensive and competitive solutions.

  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrate strong sales acumen by understanding revenue models, working effectively with salespeople, and contributing to the overall sales strategy.

  • Technology Updates: Stay updated with the latest advancements in networking technologies and trends to ensure proposals are current and competitive.

  • Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all proposals, designs, and customer interactions.


Required Skills


  • Experience: 10 to 15 years of experience in the networking industry, with a focus on enterprise networking solutions.

  • System Integrator Experience: Previous experience working with system integrators like Birlasoft.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies such as SD-WAN, SD-LAN, Routing & Switching, and Wireless .

  • Diagramming Skills: Proficiency in creating high-level network diagrams (HLD) using tools like Visio or similar.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions in a clear and concise manner.

  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and defend solutions to customers.

  • Documentation: Exceptional documentation skills, essential for creating detailed and accurate proposals.

  • Sales Acumen: Good understanding of revenue models and the ability to work effectively with sales teams.

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth technical knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Arista, F5, Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point , or similar technologies.


Preferred Certifications and Qualifications


  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in design or implementation areas, such as CCNP or CCIE, JNCIE , or any design level certification or Cisco Black belt Level 3 in Pre-sales track

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in creating and delivering proposals and solutions in the networking industry.

  • Additional Skills: Familiarity with managed network services and experience in creating resource sizing for such services.
