About the Role

Resident Engineer – Networking Domain (L2/L3)

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex networking issues at the

  packet capture level

  .
• Work on

  Spine-Leaf Architectures (L2LS/L3LS)

  including

  MLAG, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF

  .
• Monitor, configure, and manage

  Arista switches and equipment

  .
• Perform

  upgrades, patches, and vulnerability fixes

  on network devices.
• Deploy, optimize, and validate new Arista network solutions.
• Collaborate with

  Arista TAC

  for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
• Automate network operations using

  Arista APIs / Python scripting

  .
• Conduct

  network audits

  , performance analysis, and implement best practices.
• Provide

  L2/L3 technical support

  and escalate issues as required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of overall networking experience with at least

  3 years in TAC/network operations

  .
• Strong expertise in

  L2/L3 protocols

  (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, MLAG).
• Hands-on experience with

  Arista switches

  is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of

  Spine-Leaf architecture

  and data center networking.
• Experience with

  network automation

  using APIs and scripting (Python preferred).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication (written & verbal) and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business & technical teams.
