Network Operations Lead

As a Network Operations Lead at Excis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the company's network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of network engineers/technicians, monitoring and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving network reliability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and manage the Network Operations team (L1-L3 engineers). - Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPN, and load balancers. - Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes. - Establish and maintain operational procedures, playbooks, and escalation paths. - Ensure 24/7/365 network availability through proactive monitoring and automated alerts. - Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance with corporate standards and best practices. - Manage vendor relationships, service providers, and network contracts. - Perform capacity planning and propose network improvements. - Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and ensure preventive measures are implemented. - Prepare performance reports, metrics, and dashboards for leadership. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - 7+ years of network engineering/operations experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent network devices, routing and switching protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools. - Experience managing hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP). - Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management). - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
