Network Operations Center Engineer

As the Network Operations Engineer for the IoT satellite network infrastructure, your primary responsibility will be to monitor and maintain the health and performance of various components like UE devices, firewalls, gateways, and cloud platforms to ensure stability and efficiency. You will be tasked with alarm monitoring, ticket resolution, and acting as the primary point of contact for the Network Operations Center. Promptly identifying and troubleshooting issues, as well as assessing their potential impact and coordinating with relevant teams for swift resolutions, will be crucial aspects of your role. Collaboration with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently is also essential. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the IoT satellite network infrastructure - Oversee various components like UE devices, firewalls, gateways, and cloud platforms - Perform alarm monitoring, ticket resolution, and act as the primary point of contact for the Network Operations Center - Identify, correlate, and troubleshoot issues promptly - Assess the potential impact of issues and coordinate with relevant teams for swift resolutions - Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Network Operations, preferably within the telecommunications or wireless network domains - Proficiency in Kubernetes architecture, components, and concepts - Experience in setting up monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes clusters using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack - Proficient level of Linux system administration skills, including command line, user and group management, and understanding of Linux networking concepts - Strong communication skills The working arrangements for this role include 100% work from the Pune Office with NOC shift rotation timings as follows: - IST Morning Shift (IST.I): 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - IST Afternoon Shift (IST.II): 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM - IST Night Shift (IST.III): 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM,
