Role: Network Engineer

Exp: 4 to 10 Years

Location: Hyderabad

JD:

• Responsible for creating High level Network design, Low level design, Implementation Plan, migration plan, testing plan for the new projects.

• Expertise knowledge in Cisco Products ( Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Access Points, Cisco ASA) and Palo Alto firewalls

• Knowledge in Zscalar and Cisco ISE

• Update the Network devices into the ITSM & Monitoring Tools for management and monitoring and Solar Winds administration

• Responsible for troubleshooting and fixing the Network issues (Priority Low to Critical)

• Work collaboratively with Customer L3 team and TCS internal towers to identify and fix complex issues

• Participate in MIM (Major Incident Management) Calls and provide solution/ update on a timely manner

• Technical co-ordination with the OEM support in the event of any Technology assistance

• Coordinate with Customer Local Site Contact for Hardware/cabling/ WAN link related issues.

• To lead Network monitoring and complex troubleshooting activities over supported network/IT Infrastructure covering multi-vendor and multi-site large enterprise environment.

• Lead all critical P1/P2 incidents reported by business and collaborate with other technical SMEs on all incidents affecting production systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network and Security incidents, Coordinate with wider team (onsite and offshore), OEM support teams to resolve issues.

• Lead technical discussions and have up to date knowledge on the latest industry trends and technology.

• Measure, report and Maintain all service delivery KPIs / SLA as defined in the service contract.

• Analyze data relationships and dependencies, business and service delivery processes and communication needs regarding existing and new systems.

• To raise equipment, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and to track these through to problem resolution.

• Follow up on problem management and investigate workarounds and permanent fixes for reoccurring incidents.

• Executes activities safely in accordance with the relevant Technology and HSE Standards.

• Mandatory to have skills/experience (Apply only if you have experience as mentioned below) : In depth knowledge in Networking- Routing, Switching, LAN, WAN, SDWAN

• IP Routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VRRP, LDP,RSVP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, Multicast, Policy based routing

• Switches/Routers/Load blanacers/WAN/ SDWAN Optimizers/ Firewalls

• Routing, Switching, WAN Optimization and Load balancing.

• Network technologies and solutions including IPv6, MPLs, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, Load balancing, VPN tunnels, WAN Optimization.

• Clear understanding of 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi standards and related components

• Wireless Controllers and Access Points

• Network security policies and firewall administration for Cisco, Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls

• IDP / IPS management

• BIGIP F5 (LTM and GTM)

• Good understanding of Juniper Q-Fabric Operation & Design"
