L2 Network Engineer Chennai (Work from Office) - APIC

L2 Network Engineer

Required Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience with

Routers
(Cisco ISR/ASR)
Switches:
Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet,
APIC (Mandate)
Firewalls:
Fortinet, Checkpoint
Network Monitoring
tools
Certifications:
CCNA / CCNP (preferred)

Experience:

Minimum Experience as a Network Engineer or in a related technical support role, with a focus on Cisco networking equipment.
Hands-on experience with
Cisco ACI
and
Cisco APIC
platforms, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of
Layer 2
and
Layer 3 networking concepts
(VLANs, IP addressing, Routing Protocols, Spanning Tree Protocol, etc.).

Technical Expertise:

Proficient in Cisco routing and switching technologies, including experience with Nexus series switches.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols and concepts such as STP, VTP, EtherChannel, OSPF, and BGP.
Familiarity with Cisco ACI policy model and experience configuring APICs GUI and CLI.

Certifications (Mandatory):

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Data Center or Routing & Switching certifications are a plus.
