Job Description: Network Engineer – L2

(Sr. Network Engineer / Team Lead)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer – L2 with strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise and service-provider networks. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling L2/L3 operations, supporting complex network environments, and leading a technical team when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot L2 and L3 network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure and support BGP, MPLS, CGNAT, and BNG in production environments.
• Handle Layer 2 network infrastructure, including:
• STP/MSTP
• Link Aggregation (LACP)
• VLANs and L2 Security
• Perform network fault analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and incident resolution.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers as a team lead.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers for network implementation and support.
• Ensure compliance with network security standards and best practices.
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and documentation.
• Support shift-based operations if required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience 5 -7 as a Network Engineer (L2 / L3) or Sr. Network Engineer.
• Strong working knowledge of BGP, MPLS, CGNAT, and BNG.
• Expertise in L2 technologies: STP, MSTP, link aggregation, VLANs, and L2 security.
• Experience in team handling or technical leadership is an added advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
