Network Engineer L2

Responsibilities

• Manage the enterprise networking infrastructure and handling day-to-day network related (routing, switching, firewall and wireless) issues and incidents.
• Configure and troubleshoot along with driving RCA in Cisco / HPE Aruba routers, switches.
• Create and update SOPs along with updating Network diagrams LAN/WAN topology on periodic basis.
• Coordinating with hardware vendor/OEM for any hardware related issue (opening and resolving hardware issues through TAC).
• Must close all the Incident Service Request within TAT.
• Support respective teams during audits/reviews by providing data from knowledge base.
• IOS upgradation in network devices and maintain a repository of the IOS images as per the standards.
• Guide helpdesk engineers at other locations to troubleshoot network issues remotely.
• Act as a Network professional.
• Responsible for the configuration, deployment and management of customer network infra.
• Configure and troubleshoot of Aruba wireless infrastructure contains Cloud based, Controller based Stand alone.
• Configure and troubleshoot of Cisco wireless infrastructure contains Cloud based, Controller based Stand alone.

Skills

• • Knowledge of Aruba or Cisco Router and Switches and Wi-Fi network devices.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN solutions thorough understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP stack.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of switching technologies like VLAN, Trunk, STP, Etherchannel / Port Channel, VTP, CDP, LLDP.
  • Knowledge of RF characteristics:
    • Strong knowledge of antennas, 802.11 b/g/n, 802.11 ac/ax.
    • Strong knowledge of Stand alone, Cloud based Controller based architecture.
    • Strong knowledge of AAA and integration with external RADIUS server (ISE, Aruba ClearPass).
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of routing technologies like OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, PBR, Subneting, Static routes.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of Transport Technologies like GRE, IPSec, DMVPN, MPLS.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of Network Services like ACL, IP SLA, NAT, NTP, Syslog, FHRP, QoS, Multicast.
  • Good communication and technical troubleshooting knowledge.
