Role Overview: We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our fast-growing, high-impact startup. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure that powers the FundFy platform. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring performance, availability, and security across all networked systems and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure growth and compliance. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage FundFy’s cloud and on-premise network infrastructure. Maintain firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and other critical networking tools. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for speed, stability, and security. Collaborate with DevOps, security, and engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration. Create and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of network systems. Respond to incidents quickly and implement permanent fixes for recurring problems. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 5+ years of experience managing and securing network infrastructure. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, etc.) and routing/switching. Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and load balancers. Familiarity with cloud networking on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. Deep understanding of security principles, zero-trust networks, and compliance standards. Ability to thrive and solve problems in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with fintech or investment platforms. Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Knowledge of container networking (Docker, Kubernetes).
