Job Summary :

We are seeking a high-calibre Associate for International Sales within our Network Domain, focused on driving multi-country telecom services business. The candidate will engage with global enterprise clients, carriers and technology partners to deliver solutions such as IP Transit, MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity, etc. The role will involve strategic negotiation, market intelligence, cross-cultural engagement, and operational leadership in a dynamic global environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end international sales cycle: opportunity identification, proposal development, contract negotiation, deal closure and post-sale hand-over.
  • Lead and manage sales operations across multiple countries, adapting to diverse regulatory, commercial and cultural environments.
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies for global telecom network services (IP Transit, MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity, Network Automation, etc.).
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with global enterprise clients, carriers, channel/partner networks and internal stakeholders (technical teams, operations, finance, legal).
  • Conduct contract structuring and pricing discussions; ensure commercial viability, risk mitigation and profit optimisation.
  • Monitor and analyse global telecom market trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies; translate insights into actionable business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline updates and performance reports to senior leadership; drive sales KPI achievement.
  • Work in close collaboration with technical, operations and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment with customer needs, identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor or coordinate regional/global sales team or local sub-team, ensuring high performance and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Handle voice engagements with clients/partners (majority), with minimal email/chat support as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

Domain & Technical Acumen:

  • Solid understanding of telecom network architecture, including protocols, routing, switching, SD-WAN, MPLS, IP Transit, cloud connectivity and network management systems.
  • Ability to grasp technical solutioning quickly and communicate technology value to business stakeholders.

International Sales Expertise:

  • Proven experience (12–24 months) in B2B sales, preferably within telecom or IT-services across global markets.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills with global enterprise clients and carriers; experience structuring complex contracts and pricing models.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Ability to lead or coordinate cross-functional teams in a multi-country context; drive performance, mentor peers or sub-team members.

Strategic & Commercial Acumen:

  • Skilled in developing go-to-market strategies, pricing strategies, forecasting, ROI analysis and monitoring P&L.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesise market intelligence into actionable plans.

Cross-Cultural Communication & Adaptability:

  • Demonstrated success building relationships across cultures, languages and regions; comfortable working in dynamic, complex environments.
  • Strong problem-solving orientation; able to navigate ambiguity and rapidly evolving situations.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 12 months and up to 24 months relevant experience in international telecom/IT sales.
  • Graduate degree (any discipline) is required.

Desirable Attributes

  • Excellent verbal communication skills (voice channel major) and confident client-facing capability.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales dashboards and sales reporting.
  • Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented mindset with ability to work under pressure and deliver targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative attitude and ability to influence across functions.

    Pune (Office-based)

  • Mode of Service: Blended — primarily voice support with minimal email/chat interaction.
