Job Description

GoForSys Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Network and Cyber Security Specialist to secure our IT infrastructure and protect business-critical data. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network security, firewall configuration, SIEM tools, cloud security, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage secure network architecture
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS systems
  • Monitor network traffic and analyze logs to identify security threats
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Respond to security incidents and manage mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and DPDP
  • Oversee cloud security across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Conduct internal security audits and submit reports
  • Train employees on data security practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network and cybersecurity roles
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, etc.)
  • Proficiency in configuring firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, etc.)
  • Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds)
  • Familiarity with tools like Nessus, Qualys, AD, LDAP
  • Cybersecurity certifications preferred (CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security, etc.)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage incidents effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred)
