Description
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic R&D department. In this pivotal role, you will lead a cross-functional Scrum team and play a central role in the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable cloud-based web applications. This position emphasizes hands-on expertise in frontend development, particularly with React and TypeScript , while also requiring strong backend knowledge in .NET Core and Azure serverless technologies . You will work in a collaborative, agile environment where innovation and quality are valued. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance frontend applications using React and TypeScript . Collaborate with team members across different domains to define and implement microservices architecture using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. Participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle of cloud-based distributed systems. Drive architectural decisions and ensure adherence to frontend best practices including security , scalability , and performance . Apply agile methodologies such as TDD , pair/mob programming , and clean code principles to ensure code quality and maintainability. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement within the team. Collaborate with global stakeholders to align on features, architecture, and delivery timelines. Support project planning, estimation, and the timely delivery of features. Participate in an L3 24/7 on-call rotation to support production environments. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in frontend and backend software development , with a strong focus on modern web technologies. Proficient in React , TypeScript , HTML5 , and CSS3 . Hands-on experience with C# , .NET Core , and asynchronous programming . Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices and serverless technologies on Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus). Familiarity with CosmosDB is a plus. Strong understanding of software design principles , design patterns , and domain-driven design . Experience with Git , CI/CD pipelines , Docker , and Kubernetes . Knowledge of testing frameworks such as NUnit , and commitment to writing unit and integration tests . Comfortable using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA in an Agile environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and inspire engineering teams.
