Job Title: NestJS Backend Developer (Microservices, TypeScript)

About Us

We are developing a cutting-edge centralised cryptocurrency exchange application with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance. Our tech stack includes NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, WebSockets, and AWS, with microservices architecture at the core. We are looking for a highly skilled NestJS Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to building a robust, high-performance backend system.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript in a microservices environment.
  • Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and Redis.
  • Develop real-time features using WebSockets.
  • Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity in PostgreSQL.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS, leveraging services like ECS, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, following best practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system performance.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in backend development with NestJS and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven systems.
  • Expertise in Redis for caching and message brokering.
  • Proficiency in WebSockets for real-time applications.
  • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and authentication mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Blockchain or trading systems.
  • Familiarity with Next.js and frontend technologies.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in web applications.
