Job Description: National Head of Sales - Sportswear Brand Position Title: Head - Distribution/Channel Sales Reports to: Director Location: Gurgaon Purpose:Lead and drive channel sales across the country, ensuring the achievement of topline revenue goals, while managing distribution channels and the sales force within budgetary constraints. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement innovative channel sales and distribution strategies to achieve business objectives. Collaborate with senior management to shape future channel/modern trade strategies, maintaining a cutting-edge approach. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to enhance market awareness and responsiveness. Analyze market demand, sales velocity, and channel stocking levels to optimize sales productivity. Expand distribution width and depth across geographies, appointing and nurturing new partners. Drive retail programs and utilize point-of-sale materials effectively to maximize product visibility and availability. Collaborate with marketing and in-house teams to ensure brand visibility and protection at the national level. Manage distribution channels and P&L accountability across the country. Select and appoint partners, determine incentives, and implement promotional programs. Ensure an adequate customer funnel to meet national revenue objectives. Provide market feedback to support product development and creation. Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements across regions. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in national channel sales. Successfully managed a business volume of ₹100+ crores and led a team of 15+ members. Skills and Competencies: Expertise in planning, budgeting, and analytical cost management. Proficiency in product pricing negotiation, channel program implementation, and managing the product mix. Demonstrated ability in new product launches and developing employee and channel incentive programs. Strong sales and people management skills, with the ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills. Exceptional organizational, time management, and attention to detail. Proactive and self-motivated, with a proven ability to take initiative. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month Experience: total work: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
