We are looking for a driven and experienced **Senior Business Development Manager** to lead account management, business growth, and new opportunity development for Company in India. This role is central to building strong client partnerships, ensuring seamless delivery of our leadership training programs, generating new leads, and meeting revenue targets. You will collaborate with global leadership and internal teams to strengthen client relationships, expand accounts, develop new business, and scale operations globally.
We are set for our next stage growth - we are working with some of the best global talent in learning and are launching several new products designed to meet the needs of corporates and start-ups in India. We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our India office. This is a national role reporting directly to one of the partners in the company.
Client Management & Relationship Building
- Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
- Build deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Lead generation: Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, market, and products.
- Leverage email marketing and social channels such as LinkedIn to create a strong leads pipeline.
- Develop profitable new business account relationships through consistent follow-ups and negotiations.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets by upselling, cross-selling, and introducing leadership training and consulting solutions.
Project & Program Management
- Lead planning and execution of multiple client projects across regions and ensure smooth delivery.
- Oversee planning and delivery of multiple client projects across regions.
- Manage project coordinators and ensure on-time, high-quality execution within budgets.
- Create high-quality proposals and make presentations to prospective clients, informing them of the benefits of our solutions to meet their needs, independently and alongside the leadership team.
Operational Leadership
- Drive operational excellence across client management, program delivery, resource management, and process optimization to ensure great client experiences.
- Oversee end-to-end operations, including program delivery, resource management, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business development, marketing, content, trainers, and operations) for seamless delivery.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the India business development and account management team to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
- Continuously improve systems and processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery that exceeds client expectations.
4 –7 years of experience in client management, business development, or professional services, preferably in corporate training, consulting, or learning solutions. Don’t hesitate to apply even if you have lots more experience but are excited to grow with us! A successful candidate will be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere, in addition to having the following:
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, growing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong relationship management skills with experience engaging senior client stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and problem-solving abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
- Active and effective on LinkedIn; good understanding of latest tools for email campaigns, digital marketing, and lead generation.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools.
- Ambition to succeed, ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and enjoy a team atmosphere.
- Pleasant personality for client interactions; experience in solutions or learning & development business development would be an added advantage.
