Job Description for Operations Executive - Back Office Mutual Funds
Designation: Mutual Fund Operations & Insurance Back Office Associate/Executive
Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India
Job Summary:
Handle end-to-end mutual fund operations and insurance back-office processes to ensure accurate transaction processing, regulatory compliance and timely client servicing. The Back Office Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing mutual fund operations and processes. This role involves accurate and timely processing, record-keeping, and reporting of mutual fund transactions. The candidate will ensure that all operations comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Mutual Fund Operations
· Manage and process mutual fund transactions, including purchases, redemptions, and exchanges.
· Reconcile accounts and validate fund accounting records daily.
· Ensure timely and accurate execution of trades and settlements, working closely with custodians and service providers.
· Monitor fund performance, prepare and review periodic financial and operational reports, and escalate discrepancies as needed.
· Ensure strict compliance with SEBI and other regulatory guidelines, as well as internal company procedures.
· Liaise between departments (sales, compliance, settlements) for seamless workflow and accurate data.
Insurance Back Office Administration
· Process and review insurance policy applications and associated documents, including endorsements and renewals.
· Maintain, update, and manage client and policy records using in-house systems.
· Assist in claims documentation and coordination with underwriting and claims processing teams for prompt resolution.
· Support audits, compliance checks, and reporting as per company and regulatory standards.
· Ensure accurate and timely generation of reports for internal and client use.
· Communicate with agents and clients via email for data rectification or clarifications as required.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred for senior roles).
· 2–4 years of relevant experience in mutual fund operations or insurance back office preferred.
Experience working in a regulated BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) environment will be a plus.
· Working knowledge of mutual funds, insurance products, compliance, and regulatory operations in India.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), financial software, and CRM/databases.
· High attention to detail, organizational ability, and ability to multitask.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Hindi preferred for Noida region).
Skills:
o Strong knowledge of mutual fund processes and regulatory requirements.
o Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel/ Google Sheet/ CRM.
o Familiarity with financial software and database management.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
