MS Dynamics Commerce Developer / Technical Lead

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled MS Dynamics Commerce Developer with strong technical leadership capabilities to design, develop, enhance, and support Commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in MS Dynamics Commerce and act as a key technical resource across multiple development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of MS Dynamics Commerce solutions end-to-end
• Work closely with Functional Consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Customize, configure, and enhance Commerce modules using extensions, APIs, and integrations
• Develop and optimize custom code, plugins, workflows, commerce channels, and POS solutions
• Ensure high system performance, stability, and scalability across platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ERP, Retail, and Omni-channel integration teams
• Guide and mentor development team members, perform code reviews, and enforce best practices
• Troubleshoot technical issues and deliver high-quality defect resolution
• Participate in planning, estimation, release management, and UAT support activities

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–10 years of experience in MS Dynamics Commerce development (HQ, POS, e-Commerce)
• Strong knowledge of Retail/Commerce architecture and customization frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail Server, and POS extensions
• Proficient in .NET, C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps/Git
• Experience integrating Commerce with D365 modules and 3rd-party applications
• Good understanding of ALM principles and deployment pipelines
• Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities

Good to Have:

• Experience in MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Exposure to Omni-Channel, Payment integrations, Loyalty, or e-Commerce systems
• Microsoft Dynamics Commerce certifications
