Description:
Move Coordinator in the relocations industry is responsible for managing and facilitating the logistics of client relocations, whether domestic or international. Their role is essential in ensuring a smooth, stress-free moving experience for clients by coordinating various aspects of the relocation process. Logistics Coordination: Plan and schedule all phases of the move, including packing, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery.Coordinate with various internal teams (e.g., packing, storage, customs) and external vendors (e.g., shipping companies, airlines) to ensure timely and efficient execution. Organize and manage shipping containers, full container loads (FCL), and groupage services. Handle all aspects of car imports and exports, including documentation and customs requirements. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted, including customs forms, insurance documentation, and any other legal documents required for international moves. Stay updated with the latest international regulations regarding relocations and shipping processes. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the relocation process,communicating solutions to the client promptly.Handle claims, disputes, or discrepancies related to damages, losses, or delays. Client Support and Follow-Up: Provide ongoing support throughout the move and offer post-move assistance, ensuring the client is satisfied with the service.
