Motion Designer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a versatile Motion Designer / Video Editor who can create engaging video and motion content for Commtel Networks’ brand, marketing, and communications needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Motion Design

• Edit brand films, social content, corporate videos, product explainers, and event videos.
• Create 2D/3D motion graphics and animations to enhance storytelling and visual impact.
• Design clean titles, transitions, lower-thirds, and visual systems aligned with brand guidelines.
• Adapt and version content across formats, platforms, and aspect ratios.
• Maintain consistency in pacing, typography, color, and overall visual quality.

Shoots & Production Support

• Assist during video shoots with

  camera operation

  , framing, and basic lighting setups.
• Support

  multicam shoots

  for interviews, events, panel discussions, and live recordings.
• Help set up, test, and manage cameras, tripods, lights, audio, and related equipment.
• Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth on-ground execution.

Live Events & Creative Setup

• Support brand events, launches, and internal programs with visual and creative setup.
• Assist with stage visuals, screens, playback, and coordination with AV teams when needed.
• Be present on-site for events to handle creative, video, or setup-related requirements.

Collaboration & Growth

• Collaborate with brand, marketing, and design teams from concept to final delivery.
• Stay updated with new editing techniques, motion styles, cameras, and creative tools.
• Take ownership of tasks across the creative workflow and adapt to evolving project needs.

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of experience in video editing and motion design.
• Strong proficiency in video editing and motion design tools (exact tools flexible).
• Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and visual composition.
• Working knowledge of

  camera systems

  , basic lighting, and shoot workflows.
• Experience or comfort with

  multicam setups

  and live or event-based shoots.
• Willingness to step beyond a fixed role and support shoots, events, and production needs.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and timelines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with live events, corporate productions, or large-format screens.
• Basic knowledge of sound, AV setups, or event production workflows.
• Exposure to 3D tools, real-time graphics, or experimental visual formats.
• A portfolio that shows
