Job Description

The Loan Processor will be responsible for supporting the Australian mortgage operations by accurately assessing loan applications, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, and delivering a high standard of service to clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Your day-to-day will consist of inputting loan applications into the internal CRM, following up on documents with external clients, liaising with the internal credit team, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • This role requires someone who has a high attention to detail, organised and ideally looking to develop their career in mortgage broking in the future.
  • Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Reporting to the Team Leader, this role will include providing a high level of attention to detail to loan documents, preparation, and payments.


What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for the role, we are looking for a friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic candidate with:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a loans/document preparation
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to build strong rapport and excellent attention to detail

  • Proactive, with the ability to take initiative, make sound decisions, and meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and anticipate issues before they arise.
  • Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision while remaining accountable and reliable.
  • High attention to detail when reviewing documents, identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accuracy through thorough validation.
  • Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, handle pressure, and resolve conflicting priorities effectively.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Australian mortgage broking industry, specifically in AU loan processing; only candidates with Australian mortgage experience will be considered and immediate joiners are preferred.
  • Experience working with aggregator CRMs such as Infynity, Middle, and Quickli.
  • Familiarity with project and task management tools, preferably Monday.com.
