We're now looking for a talented Modular Furniture Designer to join our growing team and help bring our design vision to life through cutting-edge CAD/CAM software like IMOS , SmartWOP , or equivalent. Role Summary: As a Modular Furniture Designer , you will be responsible for creating detailed, production-ready cabinetry designs that blend form, function, and manufacturability. You'll work closely with our interior designers and factory team to transform creative concepts into modular units that are precise, optimized, and ready for CNC manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, and custom storage units using software like IMOS, SmartWOP, or similar. Prepare accurate 2D/3D drawings, CNC files, and cutting lists based on client-approved layouts. Develop and manage parametric cabinet libraries for efficient customization and scalability. Coordinate with the interior design team to translate design intent into manufacturable solutions. Optimize designs for materials, hardware, and CNC workflow in alignment with our factory standards. Review site measurements and ensure seamless fit and finish in final installations. Troubleshoot design or output issues in collaboration with the production and installation teams. Maintain quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in every drawing and output. Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related field. Minimum 1+ years of experience in modular furniture design using IMOS, SmartWOP, WoodWOP, or related CAD/CAM software. Strong understanding of modular construction, hardware integration, and CNC production workflows. Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with design detailing and shop drawing preparation. Ability to read site plans, take feedback from on-site teams, and adapt designs accordingly. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under tight deadlines. Effective communication and coordination skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in modular kitchen/wardrobe manufacturing environments. Familiarity with material optimization and nesting software like CutRite. Knowledge of premium hardware brands (Hettich, Hafele, Blum, etc.). Exposure to ERP or production tracking systems.
