Mobilizer – Skill Development Training Project: NUA Odisha

Job Purpose:

The Mobilizer will be responsible for community outreach, candidate identification, enrollment, and mobilization of eligible youth for skill development training programs under the NUA Odisha Project, ensuring achievement of mobilization and batch formation targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

> Community Mobilization.

> Conduct door-to-door visits, village meetings, and awareness programs to mobilize eligible candidates.

> Coordinate with Panchayat members, SHGs, NGOs, community leaders, and local authorities.

> Promote NUA Odisha scheme benefits among unemployed youth and target groups.

> Candidate Identification & Enrollment

> Identify eligible candidates as per project guidelines.

> Counsel candidates and parents about courses, training duration, certification, and placement support.

> Assist candidates in form filling, document collection, and registration.

> Batch Formation & Training Support

> Support batch formation and ensure timely start of training programs.

> Maintain regular follow-up to ensure candidate attendance and retention.

> Address candidate concerns and minimize dropouts during training.

> Documentation & Reporting

> Collect and verify candidate documents (Aadhaar, educational certificates, bank details, etc.).

> Maintain accurate mobilization records and MIS data.

> Submit daily/weekly mobilization reports to the reporting authority.

> Coordination & Field Activities

> Coordinate with training center staff, trainers, and district officials.

> Support training, assessment, certification, and placement-related activities.

> Participate in project meetings, reviews, and special drives as required.

Target Achievement:

Achieve assigned mobilization and enrollment targets within timelines.

Ensure quality mobilization in compliance with NUA Odisha guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Minimum 10+2 / Graduate (Preferred)

Experience:

1–3 years of experience in skill development, livelihood projects, or community mobilization preferred

Freshers with strong local knowledge may also be considered

Language Skills: Proficiency in Odia (mandatory); Hindi/English preferred

Local Preference: Candidate must be a local resident of Bolangir or Mayurbhanj district

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Fieldwork orientation and ability to travel extensively

Community engagement and counseling skills

Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, mobile apps)

Ability to work under targets and deadlines

Travel Allowance: As per organizational policy

Other Requirements:

Willingness to work in rural and urban field areas

Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred, two wheeler is must.

Must follow project guidelines and organizational code of conduct.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
