Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mobile development, a passion for creating beautiful user interfaces, and experience with modern backend technologies. You will collaborate with our product and design teams to build feature-rich, performant, and scalable mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain smooth, responsive, and reliable mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
• Implement pixel-perfect UIs that match designs, utilizing Tailwind CSS for styling.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate with server-side logic and APIs built on Serverless NodeJS and AWS Lambda.
• Write clean, organized, and testable code, participating in code reviews to maintain high standards.
• Manage the entire app lifecycle from development and testing to deployment and maintenance on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for an experience that feels native.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends in mobile development, including new technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mobile App Developer with a strong portfolio of released applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, and a thorough understanding of React and its core principles.
• Hands-on experience with React Native and the Expo framework.
• Experience styling React Native components, preferably with Tailwind CSS (or libraries like NativeWind).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile applications with backend services.
• Solid understanding of version control with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail and UI/UX.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with backend development using Serverless frameworks and NodeJS on AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with other AWS services.
• Experience with Vercel for deploying related web projects or admin panels.
• Knowledge of mobile app testing frameworks and methodologies.
