MIS Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MIS Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Management Information Systems and hands-on experience in reconciliation processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial and operational data across systems while contributing to process improvements and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconciliation Processes:

Perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations of financial transactions, operational data, and reports to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Investigate, resolve, and document discrepancies in coordination with relevant departments.

Develop and maintain recon dashboards for real-time tracking.

Data Management:

Design, implement, and manage MIS frameworks and databases to capture and store data effectively.

Collaborate with teams to collect, process, and analyze large datasets for actionable insights.

Reporting Analysis:

Prepare and distribute comprehensive MIS reports to management and stakeholders.

Generate ad hoc and periodic reports detailing trends, performance metrics, and variance analyses.

Process Improvement:

Automate repetitive reconciliation and reporting tasks using tools and scripts.

Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and implement enhancements.

Compliance Documentation:

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements in recon processes.

Maintain proper documentation of procedures, findings, and resolutions.

Key Qualifications:

Education: Bachelordegree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:

35 years of experience in MIS and reconciliation roles.

Experience working with financial systems, operational dashboards, or similar tools.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.).

Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools or ERP systems.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and database management (SQL, Access).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of financial accounting principles and reconciliation best practices.

Familiarity with automation tools such as Python, VBA, or RPA (Robotic Process Automation).

Experience with cloud-based MIS or financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho).
