Our core team comprises alumni from BITS Pilani, IIM, and XLRI, each with over three decades of experience in business transformation, supply chain, technology, and product development. Previously, we have built several highly impactful tech startups from the ground up.

About the Role

Procurement Heads Milk Sourcing

strategic vision with hands-on execution

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term partnerships with

  private vendors (B-class dairies) and cooperatives

  .
• Work closely with

  processing units, and collection centres

  to design sustainable procurement models for the next 5 years.
• Develop and execute a

  milk sourcing strategy

  to meet current and future requirements of increasing suppliers while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing buyers

  to ensure smooth supply and business continuity.

• Engage with new buyers, especially cooperatives

  to explore opportunities for business expansion and increased milk offtake.
• Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Design and implement an

  optimal milk supply chain model

  balancing quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Who Were Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in milk procurement

  , preferably with

  direct employment in leading dairy cooperatives

  (e.g., Mother Dairy, Amul, or similar).
• Strong networks across India with

  private vendors (B-class dairies)

  as well as

  cooperative procurement departments.

• Prior experience managing procurement relationships with

  MPDs, GMs, MDs, and Owners of dairy plants

  .
• Demonstrated ability to handle both

  strategic planning and day-to-day execution

  in procurement.
