Requirements:We are seeking a highly skilled Solution/Data Architect with extensive expertise in telecommunications BSS/OSS systems, large-scale data migration, and cloud-native solution architecture. The role requires a migration platform mindset — building reusable orchestration frameworks, ETL/data pipelines, and AI/automation accelerators to streamline subscriber and billing data transformation.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of Telecom transformation experience (Billing/CRM migrations, Amdocs/Netcracker/Siebel) and modern data engineering skills (Python, Java, Informatica, ETL, Azure/GCP/AWS/Snowflake ), with the ability to architect robust, scalable, and observability-driven migration ecosystems.
.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end solution and system architecture design for billing, charging, CRM, promotions, and catalog management systems, leveraging Amdocs (CES, C1, Ensemble, CMP, PCM), Netcracker, and Siebel CRM.Design and implement subscriber & billing data migration strategies, including STTM, data profiling, versioned migration (SCD), and data quality frameworks.Design and optimize ETL workflows with Informatica (or similar tools) for seamless, scalable, and reliable data migration across billing and CRM systemsArchitect and govern microservices-based and SOA solutions using Java/J2EE, ensuring modularity, scalability, and ease of integration.Define and implement API management strategies (REST/SOAP) to integrate billing platforms with CRM, mediation, provisioning, payment gateways, and external partners.Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data models aligned with TM Forum SID, ensuring consistency, governance, and regulatory compliance.Act as the program control tower with an end-to-end view of all migration initiatives.Own the migration roadmap across multiple subscriber/data migrations.Conduct upfront discovery, wave planning, and risk assessment for all migration projects.Responsible for source-to-target system assessment and data model mapping.Define migration waves, cohorts, cutover windows, and rollback strategies.Lead complexity scoring and migration readiness analysis.Ensure migration playbooks are defined before execution.Build and continuously improve the Migration Playbook and reusable checklists.Act as the interface between business stakeholders, engineering, and operations.Drive system integration and migration projects, ensuring accuracy, minimal downtime, and performance adherence during large-scale subscriber migrations.Maintain program-level dashboards, risks, and dependency tracking.Champion cloud-native design and deployment across AWS, Azure, or GCP with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and resilient delivery practices.Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, monitoring, and rollback strategies.Conduct performance tuning, stress testing, and optimization for billing and CRM solutions to meet stringent SLAs.Lead vendor evaluations, platform upgrades, and proof-of-concepts, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and emerging telecom technologies.Explore and adopt new technologies, including AI/ML for churn prediction, fraud detection, and intelligent campaign optimization.
What You Bring
Experience:12+ years of telecom IT systems experience with at least 5+ years in a Solution/System Architect role.Strong expertise in Amdocs (Ensemble, C1), Netcracker, Siebel CRM, and TM Forum SID models.Hands-on experience with subscriber & billing data migration, including STTM, profiling, versioned migration (SCD).Proven track record architecting solutions in billing, rating, charging, and CRM domains.Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Bash scripting in large-scale data and migration projects.Strong knowledge of cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps & CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Amdocs systems, TOGAF, or cloud architecture (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect).Knowledge of TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, TAM).Familiarity with regulatory compliance, data governance, and data quality frameworks.Exposure to other BSS/OSS vendors (Ericsson, Huawei). Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to break down complex technical topics for business stakeholdersComfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities
