We are actively seeking a Level 3 Microsoft Infrastructure Technician possessing expert-level proficiency to provide support on a contractual, hourly basis. In this role, you will deploy your skills in troubleshooting complex issues, provide escalated support, and engage in various project-based tasks, all while handling diverse clientele across the United States and multiple time zones.

🗝️ Tasks and Deliverables

• Escalated Ticket Resolution: Address escalated support tickets with efficacy, incorporating best practices and maintaining detailed documentation in tools like ConnectWise Automate and Datto RMM.
• Project Implementation: Facilitate the remote setup and configuration of on-premise Microsoft infrastructure solutions, encompassing Microsoft Domain Controllers, Microsoft Entra ID, and associated services.
• Security Management: Contribute to the management of our Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) security infrastructure using technologies such as ConnectWise Automate, Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection, and SOC management tools.
• System Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Implement PowerShell scripting and engage in advanced system diagnostics to troubleshoot Windows Server and Microsoft Desktop environments.
• Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all executed tasks and resolutions; collaborate with and mentor the Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, partaking in Microsoft Teams communications as necessary.
• Adherence to Best Practices: Ensure all operations comply with managed IT support best practices.

✅ Required Experience

• Deep-rooted knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems and Active Directory.
• Mastery in Microsoft Entra ID management.
• Solid grasp of networking principles and adherence to security best practices.
• Familiarity with RMM tools (preferably ConnectWise Automate/Datto RMM).
• Experience with Malwarebytes security tools and SOC platforms.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and registry management.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills paired with problem-solving acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with proficient time management.
• Superior communication and documentation capabilities.
• Commitment to conforming to managed IT ticketed support best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Apple/macOS environments.
• Experience using Autotask PSA.
