Power BI Developer

to join our team in the Communication sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

data modeling, DAX, and Power Query

, with proven expertise in designing and delivering impactful dashboards. You will work closely with business stakeholders to interpret requirements, apply data visualization best practices, and provide insights that drive decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to recommending improvements beyond standard reporting needs.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data models and visualizations.
  • Apply expertise in DAX, Power Query (M language), and advanced data modeling.
  • Ensure adherence to data visualization best practices, UI/UX principles, and storytelling.
  • Handle large and complex datasets, ensuring optimized data refresh and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze trends, anomalies, and insights.
  • Communicate insights effectively to non-technical business users in simple, clear language.
  • Proactively suggest enhancements and improvements to reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on Power BI experience (mandatory).
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M language).
  • Proven ability to interpret business requirements into impactful dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices and UI/UX design.
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets and optimize refresh performance.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and anomalies.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for advanced analytics.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
