Employment Type: Full-time About the Role
We’re looking for a Frontend Engineering Manager with strong technical expertise in JavaScript and React to lead our frontend team in building fast, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. You’ll combine hands-on technical leadership with people management to guide engineers, improve frontend architecture, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers working primarily with React , TypeScript , and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define technical direction and project goals.
Drive frontend architecture decisions, ensuring performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
Review code, provide feedback, and uphold high engineering standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
Help define and track key metrics related to frontend performance and developer productivity.
Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.
Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices. Requirements
5+ years of experience in frontend development using JavaScript and React .
2+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
Strong understanding of modern frontend architectures , state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil), and build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
Experience with TypeScript , RESTful APIs , and/or GraphQL .
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles , responsive design , and cross-browser compatibility .
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Passion for mentoring engineers and improving team processes. Nice to Have
Experience with Next.js , React Native , or Node.js .
Background in design systems or component libraries .
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
