Job Description

Mess / Kitchen Management Coordinate with cooks and helpers for daily menu and food preparation. Ensure food quality, hygiene, and timely service. Plan raw material requirements based on menu. Supervise cleaning, washing, and overall kitchen discipline. Handle staff scheduling for mess team. Resolve small issues related to kitchen operations. Maintain daily accounts (sales, purchases, expenses). Record entries in Tally/Excel. Manage invoices, bills, and receipts. Handle bank reconciliation. Maintain petty cash. Prepare basic monthly reports (P&L summary, expense summary). Coordinate with CA for GST, tax, and audit requirements. Inventory Management : Track daily stock inward & outward. Maintain accurate inventory records. Conduct weekly stock checks. Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries. Monitor stock levels and alert for reordering. Prevent wastage, pilferage, and mismatches. Requirements:Knowledge of Tally or Excel (basic–intermediate). Experience in accounts / bookkeeping. Ability to maintain neat and accurate records. Honest, organized, and detail-oriented. Experience in inventory or store work is a plus.
