Mess Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day operations of the student and staff mess facilities.

* Plan and monitor food preparation to ensure quality, hygiene, and timely service.

* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of groceries, vegetables, and other essentials.

* Maintain stock registers, daily consumption records, and ensure cost control.

* Supervise cooks, helpers, and serving staff; schedule their duties effectively.

* Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (FSSAI norms).

* Address student/staff feedback and implement improvements in menu or service.

* Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment, dining area cleanliness, and staff hygiene.

* Prepare reports on expenditure, wastage, and daily attendance of mess staff.

Preferred Candidate Profile

* Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management / Catering or equivalent.

* Experience: Minimum 35 years in large-scale institutional or hostel mess management.

* Skills: Good communication, leadership, cost control, and inventory management.

* Should have strong commitment to hygiene, punctuality, and service quality.

Housekeeping Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

* Supervise the housekeeping team across hostels, academic blocks, and campus areas.

* Allocate duties and monitor daily cleaning schedules to maintain hygiene standards.

* Inspect rooms, corridors, toilets, and common areas regularly.

* Manage housekeeping material inventory and request timely replenishment.

* Train staff on cleaning techniques, waste segregation, and safety procedures.

* Coordinate with maintenance for repair works and pest control.

* Maintain attendance, shift schedules, and performance records of housekeeping staff.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

* Qualification: Any degree/diploma; certification in housekeeping preferred.

* Experience: 35 years in housekeeping supervision in educational institutions, hotels, or hospitals.

* Skills: Team leadership, attention to detail, and time management.

* Should be proactive, disciplined, and able to handle emergencies effectively.

Ladies Hostel Warden

Roles & Responsibilities

* Oversee overall administration, discipline, and welfare of students residing in the ladies hostel.

* Ensure safety, security, and proper conduct of inmates within hostel premises.

* Maintain hostel records – student details, attendance, leave registers, and visitor logs.

* Supervise housekeeping, mess operations, and maintenance in the hostel.

* Address grievances and act as a mentor/counselor for hostel students.

* Enforce hostel rules and handle emergencies (medical or disciplinary) responsibly.

* Coordinate with management, security, and medical facilities when needed.

* Organize periodic meetings with students and submit reports to the management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

* Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate; preferably in social work, education, or management.

* Experience: Minimum 3 years as warden or in student welfare administration.

* Should be a resident warden (accommodation provided within hostel premises).

* Skills: Good communication, empathy, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

* Preference for candidates with prior experience in educational institutions.
