Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Merchant role located in Jodhpur. The Merchant will manage day-to-day procurement and sourcing activities, liaising with vendors and suppliers to negotiate costs and ensure timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, maintaining relationships with existing and potential suppliers, and ensuring quality standards are met. The Merchant will coordinate with the production and design teams to align procurement decisions with business objectives and ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement, Sourcing, and Vendor Management
• Strong knowledge of market trends within the furniture and home decor sector
• Excellent Negotiation, Communication, and Relationship Management skills
• Organizational and Time Management skills to oversee complex operations
• Proficiency with Procurement Software and Tools, along with strong analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production and design departments
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in the furniture or home decor manufacturing and export industry is a strong advantage
