Merchant Banker AVP

As a Merchant Banker AVP in Mumbai, you will be responsible for executing capital market transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and delivering high-quality services to clients. Your role will require a strong understanding of SEBI regulations, corporate laws, and the ability to oversee end-to-end project execution in investment banking. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct due diligence for capital market transactions. - Handle drafting, compliance, disclosure, and reporting requirements. - Maintain proper record keeping in accordance with SEBI and regulatory standards. - Interact with clients to ensure smooth project execution. - Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy of client deliverables. - Prepare pitch books, company profiles, and investment memorandums. - Stay updated on guidelines/regulations under SEBI, Companies Act, FEMA, Income Tax Act, etc. - Collaborate with internal teams for the execution of Capital Markets transactions (IPOs, FPOs, Rights Issues, etc.). Qualifications Required: - MBA / CA / CS / LLB - Minimum 8+ years of experience in Merchant Banking or Investment Banking. - Strong knowledge of SEBI guidelines, Companies Act, FEMA, Income Tax regulations. - Experience in capital markets transactions and regulatory compliance. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-handling skills. - Self-driven, dynamic, and result-oriented professional with the ability to think out-of-the-box.
