Merchandiser

The merchandiser role involves overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth coordination with vendors and suppliers for sourcing outdoor apparel and non-apparel products like jackets, bags, and bottles. Your focus will be on meticulous task documentation and proactive follow-ups to improve efficiency and maintain high operational standards. You will be responsible for tracking orders, samples, and deliveries, coordinating with internal teams, and promptly escalating any issues. Daily activities, vendor communications, and order statuses will be documented using Excel/ERP, with detailed reports prepared. Following up on sample creation and approvals for apparel/non-apparel items and systematically recording feedback will be essential. Confirming production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, monitoring order cycles, logging logistics details, and accurately documenting any delays are key tasks. Coordinating quality inspections, documenting findings for product consistency, recording client feedback, following up on internal tasks, and maintaining well-organized documentation for easy access will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-3 years of experience in outdoor apparel/non-apparel merchandising and a Bachelor's degree in Product Merchandising or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems are advantageous. Basic Hindi speaking/understanding is required for effective communication with North Indian vendors/suppliers. Strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills are essential, along with fluency in English for clear and professional interactions. This position is based in Trivandrum.,
