Merchandiser

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product visibility, optimizing inventory levels, and enhancing in-store customer experience to drive sales. You will work closely with store managers, suppliers, and the sales team to maintain visual standards and ensure timely product availability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement merchandising strategies for assigned products and retail locations
• Ensure shelves, displays, and product layouts are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse or suppliers for timely replenishment
• Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement, pricing, and promotional displays
• Analyze sales trends and customer behavior to optimize product performance
• Create and update planograms in alignment with brand guidelines
• Support promotional campaigns, seasonal setups, and new product launches
• Build strong relationships with store staff and management
• Prepare merchandising reports, including stock movement and competitor activity
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and merchandising standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar retail role
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple store visits
• Good physical stamina for lifting, stocking, and long periods of walking
• Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory updates

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
