Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Coordination & Order Management Act as the main point of contact between international buyers and internal departments. Understand buyer requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards. Manage the complete lifecycle of orders from sampling to shipment. 2. Product Development & Sampling Coordinate with design and sampling teams to develop new products as per buyer tech packs. Ensure timely preparation and approval of samples (proto, fit, size set, pre-production). Address buyer feedback and oversee sample modifications accordingly. 3. Production Planning & Monitoring Liaise with production and planning teams to allocate and monitor orders. Track production progress to ensure timely delivery as per TNA (Time and Action) calendar. Coordinate between departments (fabric sourcing, trims, printing, stitching, finishing) to avoid delays. 4. Vendor & Supplier Management Source and negotiate with fabric, trims, and accessories suppliers. Ensure timely procurement and quality compliance of raw materials. Maintain relationships with external vendors and processing units (washing, embroidery, etc.). 5. Costing & Pricing Prepare accurate cost sheets based on materials, labor, overheads, and margins. Negotiate final prices with buyers while maintaining profitability. Monitor cost variances during production and take corrective action if needed. 6. Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality meets buyer standards. Manage buyer audits, lab testing, and compliance requirements (social, environmental, COC audits). Address and resolve quality issues or rejections proactively. 7. Documentation & Logistics Coordinate with shipping/logistics teams for timely dispatch of goods. Ensure accurate and timely documentation for exports (packing list, invoice, bill of lading, etc.). Follow up on LC (Letter of Credit), payments, and bank-related documentation. 8. Team Management & Reporting Lead a team of merchandisers and junior staff; assign tasks and monitor performance. Conduct regular meetings with internal teams to track progress and resolve bottlenecks. Report order status and critical issues to senior management and buyers regularly. 9. Trend & Market Analysis Stay updated on global fashion trends, buyer preferences, and market dynamics. Provide input for new product ideas and potential buyer segments.
