Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop new design concepts and collections based on buyer briefs, trends, and seasonal forecasts. Create detailed tech packs with CADs, specs, and measurements for sampling. Research global fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and trims to inspire designs. Collaborate with the merchandising and sampling teams to ensure accurate product development. Select suitable fabrics, prints, and embellishments in line with buyer requirements and cost targets. Oversee sampling and make necessary adjustments based on fit reviews and buyer feedback. Coordinate with print/embroidery vendors and internal teams for design execution. Maintain a library of trends, swatches, artworks, and design references for future use. Participate in buyer meetings, presentations, and design development sessions. Ensure all designs align with target markets, brand identity, and production feasibility. Requirements: Experience: 3 to 6 years in garment/fashion design, preferably in exports (woven/knits). Education: Graduate in Fashion/Apparel Design from a recognized institute. Skills: Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW; strong sketching and visualization.
