MEP Procurement & Subcontracts

We are seeking a seasoned professional with strong expertise in MEP procurement and subcontract management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a solid background working with contractor companies, and should have a deep understanding of the MEP supply chain, vendor development, negotiation, and contract execution processes in large-scale infrastructure or building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies for MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractors in alignment with project requirements and timelines.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors and subcontractors for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting works.

Float RFQs/RFPs, manage the bid process, prepare bid comparisons, and finalize contracts in coordination with project and legal teams.

Lead commercial negotiations with vendors and subcontractors to achieve the best value without compromising on quality or delivery.

Draft, review, and manage MEP subcontracts including scope, terms & conditions, and payment milestones. Monitor performance and ensure compliance.

Ensure procurement is done within the approved budget. Track material cost variations and suggest corrective actions.

Liaise with project execution, planning, and QS teams for timely procurement and delivery of materials and services.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and contractual obligations. Maintain accurate records and documentation

Desired Candidate Profile:

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (preferred)

10–15 years of relevant experience in MEP procurement and subcontracting roles

Must have worked in contractor companies (EPC / General Contracting firms in infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects)

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, market rates, vendor ecosystems, and technical specifications

Proven experience in contract negotiation, vendor development, and project coordination

Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
