MEP - FACULTY

Position Title: MEP Faculty – HVAC & Building Services Engineering
Location: DES-TECH ACADEMY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate MEP Faculty to train students in HVAC, MEP design, drafting, and building services engineering. The candidate should have strong theoretical and practical knowledge of MEP systems along with hands-on expertise in major MEP design and simulation software tools.

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Delivery

• Conduct classroom theory and hands-on practical sessions in:
• HVAC Systems
• MEP Design & Drafting
• Building Services
• Electrical & Plumbing fundamentals
• Teach software tools including:
• AutoCAD
• Revit MEP
• Relux / Dialux
• DuctSizer
• PipeSizer
• HAP (Hourly Analysis Program)
• E-20 Sheet Calculations

2. Practical Training

• Guide students in load calculations, duct design, pump head calculations, and equipment selection.
• 3. Student Support
• Assist students in assignments, project reports, and field documentation.
• Prepare students for interviews and placement activities.
• Evaluate student performance regularly.

4. Curriculum & Documentation

• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and lab manuals.
• Contribute to syllabus development and continuous improvement.
• Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred: specialization in HVAC/MEP).
• 1+ year experience in HVAC or MEP design/ training roles.
• Strong knowledge in:
• HVAC fundamentals and load calculations
• Ducting, piping, ESP calculations
• Equipment selection (Chillers, AHU, FCU, Pumps, VRF, etc.)
• MEP coordination & building services
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Relux, DuctSizer, PipeSizer, HAP, E20 Sheet
• Good communication and classroom handling skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Additional Preferences

• Prior training/teaching experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to work with diverse student groups.
• Professional certifications in HVAC/MEP/Autodesk tools preferred.
