MEP DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Title: MEP Design Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled MEP Design Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop

  HVAC & Plumbing systems

  for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
• Perform

  heat load calculations, airflow analysis, and equipment selection

  using tools such as HAP, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant applications.
• Prepare detailed

  design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications

  for HVAC & Plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Conduct

  site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting

  as required.
• Ensure adherence to

  ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and relevant codes

  in all designs.
• Provide technical support to clients, contractors, and project teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum

  1 year of experience

  in HVAC & Plumbing system design.
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP

  , and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of

  ventilation, ductwork, chilled water systems, VRF, piping layouts

  , and energy-efficient solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret

  architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

  .
• Knowledge of

  local building codes

  and international standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Must be

  fluent in Malayalam

  to effectively communicate with clients, site engineers, and contractors.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in

  Green Building and Energy Efficiency design

  .
• Knowledge of

  Firefighting systems

  will be an added advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
