Job description

• A Medical Biller’s responsibilities include tasks that require Medical data analysis and hence should have sound judgment to be able to help our patients & providers throughout the billing process. In addition, the best candidate for this position will be experienced with billing software and medical insurance policies.
• Medical billers will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, which are necessary when working with clients or agents who regularly deal in these matters.
• The Medical Biller will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and other payers.

Key Responsibilities Area of Medical biller:-

• Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and patient demography to avoid claim rejections.
• Accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and other payers.
• Review and analyze medical records to ensure appropriate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
• Resolve billing issues with insurance companies and other payers.
• Stay up-to-date for changes in medical billing regulations and guidelines also ensure compliance with these changes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and billing records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Reconciliation of monthly reports for billing to maintain the account health of the project.
• Reconcile all the queries of billing and timely resolution from practice to avoid the timely filing limits.

Requirements and skills:-

• Proven work experience as a Medical Biller or similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HIPAA regulations and their practical application in healthcare organizations.
• Should have knowledge of medical terminology
• CPC certification would be a plus
• Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in medical billing or a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time Job Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat(WFO).

Salary: As per industry standards. Experience: 6 months - 12 months.

Shift: 2 PM - 11 PM (Noon).
