Job Title: Automation Supervisor

Location: Kalinganar, India (on-site)

Duration: ~1 year (starting October, or upon work permit approval)

Rate: Negotiable - Per Diem provided

About the Role:

A client of ours are seeking an experienced Automation Supervisor to support the commissioning of our Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) and Continuous Annealing Line (CAL) furnaces in India. The successful candidate will oversee automation-related activities during the commissioning phase, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration with the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support automation tasks during the commissioning of CGL and CAL furnaces.
• Work with the automation software already developed and implemented in Siemens Step 7.
• Ensure proper integration and functionality of automation systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues during commissioning.

Requirements:

• Solid, hands-on experience with Siemens automation software (Step 7).
• Previous experience in commissioning CGL or CAL furnaces (preferred).
• Basic understanding of furnace processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Availability for long-term on-site assignment (~1 year).
