Job Title: Automation Supervisor Location: Kalinganar, India (on-site) Duration: ~1 year (starting October, or upon work permit approval) Rate: Negotiable - Per Diem provided About the Role: A client of ours are seeking an experienced Automation Supervisor to support the commissioning of our Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) and Continuous Annealing Line (CAL) furnaces in India. The successful candidate will oversee automation-related activities during the commissioning phase, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration with the project team. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support automation tasks during the commissioning of CGL and CAL furnaces. Work with the automation software already developed and implemented in Siemens Step 7. Ensure proper integration and functionality of automation systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones. Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues during commissioning. Requirements: Solid, hands-on experience with Siemens automation software (Step 7). Previous experience in commissioning CGL or CAL furnaces (preferred). Basic understanding of furnace processes. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Availability for long-term on-site assignment (~1 year).
Position: Lead Inspection / Inspection Manager / Downstream Risk Engineer Location: India (Permanent) Package: Excellent salary + benefits, including housing, travel, and healthcare coverage Overview: Our client, a leading international insurance provider, is seeking an experienced Inspection Risk Engineer to manage and enhance their oil, gas, and petrochemical portfolio. The role involves global inspections, risk analysis, and advising clients on loss prevention and engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Manage existing OGP client portfolio worldwide. Identify business development opportunities for risk control and engineering services. Conduct detailed risk and inspection surveys (Middle East/Gulf and global assignments). Prepare technical survey reports for insurance underwriting. Review construction, operational, and maintenance risks; develop mitigation recommendations. Liaise with brokers, underwriters, and client representatives. Deliver training workshops on loss prevention and risk management. Participate in plan reviews, site audits, and project risk evaluations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related Engineering field. Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical operations, including supervisory or management experience. Knowledge of refining, petrochemical, or chemical processes (operational and design). Certification or detailed knowledge of API 510 / 570 , and ability to attain API 580 / 571 . Expertise in material selection, welding processes, pressure equipment installation, maintenance, and turnarounds. Knowledge of risk-based inspection methodologies and root cause analysis of equipment failures. Willingness to travel 12–14 surveys per year (~70–80 days). Strong interpersonal, communication, project management, and multitasking skills.
