Mechanical Supervisor

As an AutoCAD Draftsman at our company, you will be responsible for handling drawing interpretation and providing on-site supervision for the fabrication of industrial components such as chutes, suction eyes, impellers, and fans. Your role will involve creating and interpreting detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D), supervising workshop personnel, guiding teams at job sites, ensuring quality standards are met, coordinating between design office and field team, conducting field visits, reporting progress, and resolving technical issues on-site. Key Responsibilities: - Create and interpret detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D) - Supervise and instruct workshop personnel during fabrication processes - Direct and guide teams at job sites to ensure correct installation and assembly - Ensure all fabrication and on-site work is completed as per drawing specifications and quality standards - Coordinate between the design office and the field team for smooth execution - Conduct field visits for measurements, fit checks, and installation planning - Report daily progress and resolve technical issues on-site Qualifications Required: - Strong technical knowledge of components like chutes, suction eyes, impellers, and industrial fans - Willingness to work both in the workshop and on-site as required - Hands-on supervision and team management skills - Possess a motorbike for commuting to different sites or live close to the job location - Prior experience in fabrication or mechanical supervision will be advantageous Additional details of the company: This is a full-time position based in Dakghar, Maheshtala with a salary based on experience. The role involves a field-oriented approach, requiring candidates who are confident in both technical drawing and practical team supervision. The job types available are Full-time, Internship, Contractual / Temporary with a contract length of 6 months. The work schedule includes Day shift, Fixed shift, Morning shift, and Rotational shift.
