Mechanical Site Engineer

The Mechanical site engineer shall work under the direct supervision of the project manager . The mechanical engineer will be give his technical expertise as required to manage and co ordinate any designs assigned, site supervision , commissioning and related documentation works.He is responsible for managing staff under his/her supervision and ensure high quality design documentation and site works are carried out on time or under budget. The tasks would involve the following but not limited to: Coordination and supervision of installation of the mechanical and fabrication and pipeline services of the projects. Assist the project team and logistics division in procurement or mechanical machineries and equipment . Design and review mechanical installation and services in buildings, ventilations, fire fighting and safety , air conditioning , HVAC and ducting systems, hot and cold water, sanitary , drainage, waste management and treatment mechanical systems and mechanical gases systems. Assist contract division in preparing and evaluation of tender documents of mechanical engineering services (Specifications , BOQ's, rates, test reports etc) Design and produce mechanical and plumbing systems design calculations, drawing and scope of works. Review and design of mechanical fabrications & pipe line services of projects . Review and approve of submittals of technical material and shop drawings submitted by the contractors and design consultants for mechanical and plumbing services of projects. Manage testing , commission ,training and handover of mechanical and plumbing deliverables of clients. Specifically, the mechanical engineering will be responsible for the following substantive tasks: Technical Tasks: Prepare design briefs and the design reports that address specific clients and stake holder requirements and specifications as and when necessary. Preparation of comprehensive design documentation, specifications and other project documents to meet the required quality and detailing as stipulated by the project manager or infrastructure advisor. Fire hydrating piping. strutural fabrication & chilled brain drain line Structural fabrication and diesel pipeline. oLd hot & cold tank removing & new tank erection , steam line. Platform fabrication & utility pipeline. Solvent drain line. solvent tank erection , suction & delivery pipeline for solvent tanks. AHU drain line , solvent pipe line & structural platform at shaft areas. Fire hydrant piping. Pipe rack , utility piping , Boiler & compressor erection. Pipe rack , plat form , steam line & Nitrogen line.`
