Mechanical Engineering Supervisor

You are a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineering Supervisor responsible for leading and overseeing a team of mechanical engineers and technicians. Your main duties include supervising design, development, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your key responsibilities will involve supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the mechanical engineering team, planning and overseeing projects from concept to completion, reviewing and approving mechanical designs, and ensuring engineering solutions meet performance, cost, and schedule requirements. You will also monitor progress, provide technical guidance, collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct performance reviews, training, and mentoring of team members, manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, and identify process improvements to support continuous improvement initiatives. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred) and at least 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. You should possess strong knowledge of mechanical systems, CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and simulation tools, as well as excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
